On Sunday June 19th, Carrie and Leslie did a pecha kucha style presentation on our community associations at the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) Conference. We talked about the unique structure of our CA model, your resiliency in the face of challenges, and how you play a crucial role in creating Calgary’s identity and physical landscape or as we call it “city building”. Our presentation focused on our network of CAs are co-creators (a term by Peter Kageyama) in our city.
