Design MattersĀ is a lecture series presented by the Faculty of Environmental Design, that brings to Calgary a range of important speakers who will explore urban design in our contemporary culture.
Lectures are delivered from September to April, and feature provocative speakers who examine issues in architecture, planning, environmental design, and landscape ecology. The series challenges the University community and the public to broaden their thinking on a myriad of issues related to design. Design Matters is also an opportunity to network with Calgary’s planning community.
Design Matters lectures are free for students and $10 to the public, and they’re a great way to supplement your knowledge gained from Federation workshops. Due to high attendance, registration is required. Click here to find out about upcoming Design Matters lectures as well as how to register.
