Advertising Signs on Transit Property
The City is proposing amendments to signage rules to accommodate Third Party Advertising Signs on Transit Properties where those signs generally meet the provisions of existing sign bylaws and are desired by the City.
Third Party Advertising Signs generate a significant source of revenue for The City that can offset tax support of Transit operations and fare increases, providing a public benefit that is aligned with Council policy.
