City Hall 101 Secondary Suite Process

In partnership with City Clerks, City Hall 101 gives citizens the tools and confidence to better connect with City Council and have your voice heard in City government.
On Monday, November 7, 2016 we are conducting a pilot module in support of understanding the City's Secondary Suite application process, including the role of the Calgary Planning Commission and the format of the Public Hearing portion of City Council meetings.
This event will include visiting Council Chambers while a Combined Public Hearing Council meeting is in progress, presentations specific to the Secondary Suite process and a short visit with the Mayor and Council members at the beginning of their dinner break at approximately 6pm.
Once you have registered, you will receive an email confirming your registration and we will provide details on where and when to meet.
This pilot program is limited to 30 participants only and registration is required.
Because we don't want to be placed in the position of turning away interested participants on the night of our event, please note that because of room capacity, we are not publicly sharing or promoting this event. We will not be able to accommodate more than 30 registrants.
