We are reaching out to you as there may be members of your community who submitted comments to The City utilizing the online Planning & Development Map (calgary.ca/development) between February 1 and 13 regarding a land use redesignation (rezoning) in your neighbourhood. Some of these submissions may not have been received by the City Clerk.

We will be running Public Notice ads in the newspaper as well as revised signage on the parcels of land to which this applies, to allow citizens to re-submit if their comments were missed. The message below mirrors that of the ad, which provides direction for citizens on how to resubmit their comments (if necessary). Please feel free to post on your community website or via other means that you may feel appropriate. This type of extension is not common and in this instance the omissions were attributed to a technical error. We can assure you that this has been rectified (and only impacted the February 20 Public Hearing items).

If you have any questions, please email publicsubmissions@calgary.ca

Thank you for you attention to this matter.
