Exploring Communities Updates
Through our Exploring Communities: Community Collabs program, Ben, Tyson, and Ariam, have been working students from the University of Calgary’s urban studies capstone class and four communities. After engaging with the board and broader community to collect ideas, the students have brought back their ideas and have selected their best pick!
This year’s communities are:
- Elbow Park
- Mount Pleasant
- Riverbend
- Deer Ridge
As part of this year’s Exploring Communities projects, the four groups of students will pitch their placemaking ideas to a panel of judges to win the grand prize of $1000 for the communities to use for implementation.
