Let's re-envision the Olympic Plaza Cultural District
From now until May 31, a public engagement process is in place to help re-imagine the Olympic Plaza Cultural District.  The goal is to ensure all Calgarians have a chance to share their ideas for a space that is considered “Calgary’s living room.”

Background
The Olympic Plaza Cultural District (OPCD) area includes Olympic and Municipal plazas, adjacent public spaces and the connection through City Hall to Third Street S.E. These are all priority spaces that were identified as being in need of repair and enhancement in the Civic District Public Realm Strategy. In earlier engagement, Calgarians shared that they want an area that is clean, safe, and provides access to a wide range of events and features.

Share your ideas
Public feedback from this engagement will help shape amenities and programs for a revitalized OPCD, feeding into a programming guide that will help shape future phases of the project.

Calgarians from all across the city can share their ideas through:

Please take a few minutes to complete the brief three-question survey at calgary.ca/myOPCD and share this with your friends and contacts. Together we can shape the future of this area.
